Introduction
Only the best of the best in home automation technology could meet the expectations of the residents of this stunning home and keep up with their busy lifestyle. The homeowners came with their own ideas to incorporate in the design of their new smart home and wanted the system to fit the needs of each family member.
The Challenge
Keep the inner workings of the home automation system hidden while enhancing the overall design, comfort, and function of this spectacular Denver home.
The Solution
Discreetly deploy advanced Crestron solutions including motorized shades, network AV, a custom user-interface, and a Crestron zone climate system.
Technology
Matt Wetzel, Director of Design Services at Denver based Aurum, and his team utilized a variety of Crestron solutions including DigitalMedia™ NVX network AV, a custom user interface, and a Crestron zone climate system. The home features Crestron automated shading throughout, along with an energy monitoring system that makes it possible to maintain a small footprint. The custom user interface was critically important to the homeowners. They wanted a system they could easily understand and be fun to use.
“The new DM NVX network AV system truly exceeds all of our needs for local gaming, sources, and 4K video”
The Aurum team thoughtfully configured the technology throughout the home to minimize its visual impact on the décor. The project was executed beautifully thanks to the Crestron technology and the collaboration between the design and build team. Aurum provided the design, comprehensive plans, products, and installation to ensure that the end result was highly efficient, safe, luxurious, and fun.
Results
This stunning Denver home comes alive brilliantly with Crestron technology and automation designed to keep up with a busy, bustling family. The beautifully designed home, filled with impeccable details, not only keeps the inner workings of the technology hidden, but also enhances the overall design of the home in form and function. The end result was highly efficient, safe, luxurious, and fun – very fun.
